These randomized packs of three courses come in different difficulty levels. Unlock harder packs as you progress through new worlds in Solo mode.
Use StreetPass to share your Coin Rush Records with other players, and challenge their coin grabbing skills. When you compete and finish all three courses, you'll get the amount of coins they got for the record as well as yours. Beat their record, and you'll also get a Crown Coin worth 1,000 coins!
Want a lighter challenge? Opt to play through Coin Rush as White Raccoon Mario to have an edge with his invincibility powers. Any run you complete this way is marked as such.
These levels, all from Solo and Co-op modes, will look very familiar…but you'll have much less time to complete them. Don't focus on exploring every nook—go for maximum coin tally without running out of time.
All 1-Up Mushrooms in each course have been replaced by Gold Mushrooms, nabbing you 50 coins apiece—much more valuable when you're rushing for coins on only one life.
Hit the top of the goal pole in any given stage to double your coin count. This is where the big scores really come in, so try your best to hit the top every time.
Enjoy exclusive new packs of Coin Rush courses that serve up a variety of challenges for players of all skill levels. These optional course packs can be purchased quickly and easily from right within the game.

Additional Course Packs that extend the coin collecting fun of New Super Mario Bros 2 can be purchased for play in Coin Rush mode. These Course Packs are available for purchase from within the in-game shop.
To access the New Super Mario Bros. 2 Shop, it must first be activated by a SpotPass notification. This will cause a Shop button to appear on the title screen. Notifications may not arrive immediately if it's been awhile since you last played.
After launching the game, check the in-game Options to make sure your SpotPass setting is switched to "ON."
Check to make sure your Nintendo 3DS is connected to the Internet, then select Coin Rush on the Title Screen. Touch the "Shop" button at the bottom of the screen to browse and purchase Course Packs.
Browse through available Course Packs for purchase. Each lists a description, course pack difficulty, blocks required, and price.
Tap purchase. Purchases can be made with eShop balance, a credit card, or a Nintendo 3DS Prepaid Card.
